Francisco Sa Carneiro Airport (OPO) is the gateway to the north of Portugal and other parts of the northwestern Iberian peninsular, with regular flights operated by major European and domestic airlines arriving each day. The terminal has recently been replaced and sports three levels, with Arrivals and Baggage Reclaim located on the ground floor and Departures on Level 3. The new terminal is better laid out than the old one and facilities are good.
